Bhatnagar Hospital - 150 beds, 40 years of patient care, founded by Dr. Bhatnagar
From your second semester onwards, you care for real patients with real conditions - not paper case studies. That's why our graduates can walk into any NABH-accredited hospital and work from day one.

Government policy now requires NABH accreditation for hospitals treating Ayushman Bharat patients, creating real demand for nurses trained in NABH-style protocols. Bhatnagar Hospital is currently going through NABH certification, and our students train under those same protocols every week, on real patients, in real wards. They graduate ready to work at any NABH hospital - the kind that pays better and looks for nurses already familiar with the standard.
Access positions in top NABH-accredited hospitals nationwide
NABH-qualified nurses earn 30-40% more than standard graduates
NABH standards align with international healthcare benchmarks

Dr. Bhatnagar - the first MD in Roorkee - opened his first clinic next to the railway station decades ago. At a time when most physicians simply handed out medicines, he wrote diagnostic slips. The approach was unfamiliar at first, but patients learned what it meant: their condition was being understood, not just treated.
That practice grew into a clinic on Civil Lines, then Haridwar Road, and eventually Bhatnagar Hospital - a 150-bed institution where Dr. Bhatnagar still leads diagnosis and cardiology rounds today. Now, our nursing students train in the same wards where 45 years of medical experience walks daily.
Every nursing program is required to provide clinical training. Not every program does this the same way.
Bhatnagar Hospital existed long before the college did. It's a 150-bed institution with steady patient flow, active OPDs, an ICU, and full-time specialists. Our students don't observe healthcare on inspection days - they participate in it, every week, from their second semester onwards.
Our founder, the first MD in Roorkee, has practiced medicine for 45 years and remains an active teacher - in ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical training. He is also a faculty member at IMA continuing education programs and known regionally for his diagnostic work in cardiology, diabetes, and infectious diseases.
Dr. Sandhya Bhatnagar - past President of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics - leads our neonatology lab. Dr. Arpit Tomar performs angiography. Our anesthesiology team runs one of the strongest ICUs in the region. Students learn from physicians who treat patients here every day.
When our graduates apply to NABH-accredited hospitals - in Delhi NCR, Dehradun, Gurgaon, or the Gulf - they don't have to relearn nursing on the job. The skill is built over four years of daily practice on real patients. That's the difference between a certificate and a career.
"Train where the patients are."
Your clinical hours shouldn't be a number on a form. They should be a record of real patient care, supervised by physicians whose names mean something in this region.
We only teach nursing. The hospital is the curriculum.
